Black Jeans Outfit Ideas (A breakdown of looks in the video)
Black jeans and silk shirts
So I love silk shirts, I love how they feel on my skin, I love how they dress up any outfit, really in my mind I think I could wear a silk shirt with almost anything. Almost. I have several silk shirts hanging in my closet mostly because I love the feel of silk, and I’m a big fan of natural fibers. In this look, I paired the black jeans with a plain yellow silk shirt. The color is really bright and vibrant, so if I want to be pretty basic and plain and say I was wearing it with some sparkly shorts, I ‘d just wear this and those sparkly shorts. Since I am wearing it with black jeans and the silk shirt, I might wanna throw some more fun to it and in this case, I would pair it with some earrings. The earrings in this look are red and what I like about this is the contrast, I love when colors contrast.
Style tip: If you do buy a silk shirt, I reccomend going witha plain shirt so you can dress it up or down. Print are fun too, but try and go witha subtle print if you’re looking for versatility.
Black jeans and a t-shirt
One of my favorite looks is very basic, and that is pairing a black jean with a basic t-shirt. Now if you wanna take it up a notch, To add a little bit more drama to this look, to take it beyond just the basic jeans and tee look, then I would pair it with some really cool kick-ass shoes. And I’m a cheetah person, but if you like red shoes, or if you have a pair of shoes that really gets you feeling like you can take over the world! Then why not pair it with that and it doesn’t have to be a brown t-shirt, this is just what I have handy, but if it’s a white t-shirt then you have some sort of graphic print to add some fun to it and then some cool kick-ass shoes or if you don’t have those handy, you can also pair it with a hat, and look like you put a lot more effort than you probably did.
Black Jeans and a white shirt
Now I didn’t pick a super plain white shirt for this because I thought I’d just oomph it up a little bit. Buty what I would do is wear this with jeans, and some boots and call it a day because of the shirt is interesting enough. Now, what do I mean by that? Well, the level of detail on the shirt, it’s a matter of balancing details and balancing how much drama you bring, is good. If I had a simple black hat, like a smaller shorter black hat, I might throw that on top (but I don’t because most cute small hats don’t fit my head, sigh). I might throw a leather jacket on top if it’s chilly out, and if you have a leather jacket or any jacket in a fun color you love, wear that!
Style tip: If you’re shirt has a lot of details, keep the accesories near your face minimal.
Black Jeans and a Flirty Top
So what do I mean when I say a “flirty top”? When I say that, I mean a top that’s slightly sexy but not too revealing. Maybe it’s shorter, maybe it’s a little sheer, maybe it’s a lower cut. Essentially, it’s a top that definitely makes you feel like you are kinda bringing your assets tot he world, but you’re not overdoing it. I picked a cream lace top that’s slight;y sheer and short. But it doesn’t necessarily mean you need a cream lace blouse to wear with your jeans, I think you could also wear any top that meets the criteria.
Again, because of the level of details with this top, I wouldn’t wear a lot because I feel like when you have something that has this much detail, you don’t wanna overdo it. So, I might pair this with some basic black boots, so it would be black jeans, black boots, and this flirty top. Or I might pair it with some gold hoop earrings if I feel like it, or pearl earrings. Essentially the focal point is the top, so everything else I’ll be wearing will be plainer, playing a supportive role.
Black jeans with a Jean Shirt
Now there’s a really important trick to this: Don’t wear the same shade, wear two different shades. If it’s a lighter jean shirt with a darker pair of jeans, you’re good but if it’s even a darker shirt with a lighter pair of jeans, also good… WIth this look, because the shirt and jeans are plain, I’d add a bit more drama with like say a necklace.
I wouldn’t layer too many necklaces, personally, because the look is already kind of different, so then it’s just like, there’s a fine line between wearing something different and then just going overboard.
Black jeans and a blazer
Now the last look is a blazer, and I would wear the blazer essentially a lot of the things I paired it with, I would wear it with a t-shirt, it becomes this really cool, really simple look. Or I would also wear it with a shirt, again my example isn’t plain, but then again it gives you a feel for both ways.
Black jeans and a leather jacket
I live in leather jackets, so the jacket would work well if you wanted to say wear it with a crop top if you’re feeling adventurous and daring or if you wanted to wear it with the t-shirt, that’s always a good look that just looks great.
And this is debatable probably with some people, but I could throw it on top of the jean shirt.
So that wraps up what to wear with black jeans, I hope I gave you a ton of ideas, as to what you can look at into your closet and find ways to wear it.
